DRAW DATE : 8 JULY 2023 @Pioneer Badminton Centre Meeting Room between 11am-12pm, all Team Managers are encourage to attend the briefing and draw, otherwise the organizer will draw on behalf, and  we do not attend any dispute after.

      * Final schedule is depend on the number of participating teams, and it will be announced once after the draw is out.

Eligibility of participants

​

  1. Malaysian Citizen ONLY

  2. Aged MUST be 20 and above ( born in year 2003 )

  3. MUST NOT BE CURRENT NATIONAL, EX-NATIONAL, CURRENT BJSS, EX- BJSS, CURRENT NATIONAL BACK-UP OR EX-NATIONAL BACK-UP PLAYERS

  4. MUST NOT BE CURRENT STATE OR EX-STATE PLAYERS WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN STATE OPEN (EG. KL OPEN, SELANGOR OPEN, PERAK OPEN, AND ETC) OR SUKMA GAME OR PURPLE LEAGUE

ENTRIES

  1. All entries must be submitted via ONLINE GOOGLE FORM.

  2. After registration is done, please proceed for payment within one week upon submission.

  3. Payment can be done by CASH / BANK TRANSFER ( Account Name:  PIONEER SPORTS MANAGEMENT (M) SDN BHD.,Banker: CIMB BERHAD, Account Number : 8600135001 ).

  4. Please attach the Inter Bank Transaction Slip if paid direct to the bank account,  call or Whatsapp 012-3220708 for details.

REGISTRATION

  1. Each team can register SIX ( 6 ) to EIGHT (8 ) players.

  2. All Players must meet the condition sets in ELIGIBILTY OF PARTICIPANTS.

  3. Each player may only be able to play ONE ( 1 ) event in a tie for their teams,.

  4. Only registered players for the league are allowed to play in the league. A team fielding unregistered players will lead to the DISQUALIFICATION of the whole team.

  5. Submission and payment can also be done via Pioneer Badminton Center at 5th Floor Endah Parade Seri Petaling.

REQUIREMENTS

Men's Doubles Combined Age pair must meet the minimum combined age of 90, otherwise the match will consider VOID.

​

GENERAL

  1. The official Rules and Regulations from Badminton World Federation ( BWF ) are all applied in this league except for changes to the league format, whereby THREE  ( 3 ) games will be played in 21 points format, best  2 of 3 sets . Each Win in a set will gain ONE point for the team and the total point collected will be used in the draw of the knockout table. 

  2. A protest fee RM100 will be imposed for any issue protested by the players. If the protest is made true, the fee will be refunded. Otherwise the fee will be forfeited. The Onus is up to the person making the official protest. The organizer will only accept printed fact and no other hearsay information.

  3. The organizers have the RIGHT to request for any players to present their original identification card, birth certificate and etc.. The team will be found guilty on any complaint or accusation if they fail to present the requested documents.

  4. The Organizing Committee will decide on any other matters not provided in the Rules & Regulations of the League and its decision shall be final.

  5. The Organizers will not be responsible for any injury sustained, at any time, by any player or official arising from his/her participation in the league.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

  1. Each session is to be played consisting of 3 doubles matches ( 1 Mixed Doubles, 1 Men Double Combined Age 90 and 1 Men Doubles )

  2. Each Team will be divided into small group of 4 team and will be played on Round-Robin basis, no elimination in this round.

  3. After Round-Robin matches, ALL teams will play in Knock Out stage.

  4. Team Managers will be given 5 Score Sheets and 1 Team Line Up Sheet upon registration for each session.

  5. The score sheet shall be used by the respective match umpire to record the match scores.

UMPIRE & LINESMAN

  1. Each team are required to send in TWO ( 2 ) representatives to be line judges during the match.

  2. Umpire will be on rotation basis. Each team are required to send in ONE ( 1 ) representative as an umpire during the match.

  3. All decision from the Umpires are FINAL. No appeal will be entertained.

CANCELLATION / WITHDRAWAL

  1. All team must submit their player list at least TEN ( 10 ) minutes before the commencement of their respective matches.

  2. Teams must be at the venue at least FIFTEEN ( 15 ) minutes before their match.

​

​

CANCELLATION OF TOURNAMENT

The Organizers reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tournament if neccessary.

​
